Subrogation Adjuster
About the position:
After our Investigation Specialists have thoroughly investigated a claim, gathered all of the necessary documentation to justify the claim, and placed a carrier on notice of our intent to subrogate, the claim is assigned to a Subrogation Adjuster to pursue recovery. This is where your expertise comes in. You'll review the claim file for subrogation appropriateness, negotiate settlements when possible, and prepare and handle claims for inter-company arbitration or collection through legal proceedings. You're responsible for keeping current on critical case laws, statutes, and trends in field of subrogation, as well as the application of that knowledge to maximize your recovery efforts.

Our adjusters maintain higher than national averages with regards to indemnity on their recoveries. They strive to create and maintain our longstanding reputation of professionalism, courtesy and respect in the industry. This position is directly responsible for the negotiation, settlement and collection of money owed to our clients by other insurance companies, self-insureds and/or individuals.

Who should apply:
Candidates should have five or more years of insurance company or independent adjuster experience handling insurance liability claims, subrogation, or inter-company arbitration filings. Accomplished communication, analytical and negotiating skills are also required along with a strong working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications. A valid adjuster's license and college degree is preferred.
