Professional Development Programs

We are so confident in the quality of our program that we provide reimbursement and financial incentives to promote participation.

We encourage all employees to participate in the Program, though candidate requirements vary by course. In some cases, candidate requirements may be waived subject to manager approval. Candidates may only participate in one course at a time.


Reimbursement to Employee

Reimbursement is quick and simple.

Sign up for a course and Praxis reimburses a portion of the cost. Successfully complete the course on schedule and Praxis pays the remaining cost.

Overview:
Various self study Property and Casualty insurance courses.


American Educational Institute (AEI)

Overview:
In depth study of liability and coverage in auto claims.


Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional (CSRP) (NASP)

Overview:
In-depth study of topics specific to the subrogation professional.


Insurance Institute of America/Program in General Insurance (INS)

Overview:
This series of three (3) courses provides a solid foundation in insurance. The courses cover insurance principles, practices and policies in depth.


Associate in Claims (AIC)

Overview:
Designed to improve technical claim handling abilities, as well as communication and negotiation skills.


Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)

Overview:
Focuses on the legal, financial and operational aspects of risk management and insurance, as well as on financial services.

Other courses or programs will be considered by Praxis for eligibility upon request.
