Claim Potential
The subrogation process starts with a transfer of paid claims data from our clients. This can be accomplished in many ways, but is done most efficiently through the receipt of claims tapes or electronic data transfer. Once the information is received, the detection process identifies all potential accident related injury claims, checks for duplicate claims and current cases, and tallies claim dollars on related cases.
Research & Investigation
Our staff reviews all responses to determine third party liability. Praxis' investigators use their expertise to accumulate all facts surrounding the loss. After the accident is thoroughly investigated, the third party insurance carrier, plan member, and the attorney are notified of the subrogation claim.
Follow-up
Claim files are reviewed and updated on a scheduled basis, or when action is needed. At review, contact is made with the third party insurance carrier and attorneys, to gather information and to provide updates on claim file balances. Automatic reporting effectively alerts staff to review cases and gives vital information relevant to their case inventory and performance. |
