CARMI

CARMI, the Center for Actuarial Science, Insurance, and Risk Management encourages its faculty to conduct applied research to benefit the insurance industry and the people and businesses dependent upon it, as well as the practitioners of the industry. With talented faculty and students from both areas of study, the center will support additional research topics for the industry to explore and use.

CPCU

The Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) Society is a community of credentialed property and casualty insurance professionals who promote excellence through ethical behavior and continuing education.

ISO

ISO Rating Service is a leading source of information about property/casualty insurance risk. ISO draws upon its vast experience in data management and security, and its expertise in predictive modeling to serve its clients. ISO analyzes data and presents information in formats its customers can use, and develops practical tools that integrate its customers’ workflow.

NASP

The National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP) is a non-profit trade association dedicated to increasing the educational opportunities available to subrogation professionals.

NYCA

The New York Claim Association is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to the advancement of professional ethics and education in the field of insurance claims and related businesses in the New York Metropolitan area.

PLRB/LIRB

Through its many services and programs, the Property Loss Research Bureau, PLRB, addresses the claims handling needs of its member insurers, as well as to insurers training, legal, underwriting departments, and other claims service providers. The PLRB website is the most comprehensive source of proprietary property and liability claims information on the planet.
